Everything You Need to Know for Primary Election Aug 4

voting

Primary Election Day is Tuesday August 4, 2020.  Like the upcoming General Election on November 3, 2020, both elections will be held in the most unprecedented of circumstances.

Despite the COVID pandemic, the 'show' goes on, and voting is as important as ever. Therefore, the Pinal County Elections Department wants to provide you the information to make your voting experience as safe and comfortable as possible. Here is everything you need to know.

Find Your Polling Location

Pinal County has 92 polling places that will be open from 6:00 am, until 7:00 pm on Tuesday August 4th.
Anyone standing in line at 7:00 pm will be allowed to vote. Voters MUST go to their assigned polling location to vote. Click here to confirm your assigned polling location.

Curbside voting is available at all polling places for those who cannot or do not want to enter a polling place.

Simply pull up to the A-frame sign, call the number on the sign, and a poll worker will come outside, check you in and bring you a ballot.

Poll workers have all been provided with masks and face shields and are being strongly encouraged to wear them.

There will also be a limited supply of masks for voters, but voters are encouraged to bring their own masks and pens. Ballots can be marked with either blue or black ink.

The polling places are being supplied with disinfecting wipes, hand sanitizer, pen sanitizer units, disinfecting and cleaning supplies. Poll workers have been instructed to wipe down surfaces frequently.

Voters seeking to drop off early ballots do not need to wait in line.  Instead they can just place their ballot in the secured bags provided at any county polling place, in the ballot boxes at any of the three recorder's office locations, or in any of the ballot drop boxes that are located around the county.

For more information on ballot drop off locations, visit my.arizona.vote.

Early ballots must be dropped off by 7:00 pm on Tuesday August 4, 2020.

For more information, please visit www.pinalcountyaz.gov/Pages/Elections.aspx. You can also call the Pinal County Citizen Contact Center with any questions, dial 311 or 520-509-3555, 8 am - 5 pm, Monday through Friday.
